Home Town Blues

Tab Benoit (pronounced ben-wah), born in New Orleans and raised in Houma, Louisiana, has earned quite a name as a top notch Blues guitarist. Recently his recording company, Justice Records, had a party to celebrate the release of his 4th, and most recent, CD, "Swampland Jam". The party was held at "Mid-City Rock-n-Bowl" in New Orleans, a unique establishment frequented by many local and national musicians.

I was fortunate enough to attend that party and got some great pictures and autographs of some legendary Louisiana Blues musicians who were there and who also performed on Tab's CD. I was thrilled and honored to get to meet and hear these Blues Greats play such tunes as "Too Many Dirty Dishes", an old Albert Collins song. Henry Gray plays keyboard on this one
